Johnny L Carter, RN

My grandfather was recently hospitalized after a fall resulted in a subdural hematoma. He was life-flighted to Saint Luke's Hospital on the Plaza. From the very beginning, he was given excellent care. The staff went above and beyond. Their compassion was unmatched. An extra special thank you to Johnny, RN Diabetic Educator. Tackling my grandfather's diabetes and getting him to understand the importance of medications, checking his blood sugars, and eating has been no small undertaking. He often will tune us out or have selective hearing. Johnny made his visit fun and interactive, as though we were visiting with an old family friend. Since our hospital visit, my grandfather has used all the tools Johnny has taught him, which has made him successful. We are so thankful for the excellent care we received and everyone whose kindness touched my grandfather in a healing way.
