Johnny Came to us as a traveler and decided to stay with us permanently! He said he loves coming to work and feels like we are part of his family.
During Johnny’s shift he had a patient that was dying. In the next room, there was a patient with dementia that was being loud and unruly. The patient’s family told Johnny that music sometimes helps her to calm down. Johnny went in without hesitation and started singing lullabies to the patient. The patient calmed and the 1st patient and family were able to have a quiet and calming environment during their time of emotional support and need.
Johnny had three nurses nominate him. In a hospital our small size, that’s huge!
