Joi Rose

I want to nominate Eliana Maes & Joi Rose for going above and beyond at a Pediatric clinical site. Together, they advocated for a patient, cleaned up the patient with bed bugs and on contact precautions, changed linens, advocated to get the patient fed, and tended to the needs of the patient, even though this particular patient was not on their assignment. This shows the care and ability to tend to patients in need, even in difficult circumstances. This shows their strength of advocating, which is what a nurse does. I know Eliana and Joi will be amazing nurses, and that shows by what they did as student nurses in clinicals that day.
