Jo Tate has been an invaluable member of the Burn Team for the last 21 years, serving as the BPICU Night ANM since 2005. Jo effortlessly embodies all the qualities of a DAISY Recipient. She serves as a professional role model for staff by fostering trust and motivating others to practice at a high-performing level. She is always accessible and available. She truly cares about her team members, by demonstrating her care and compassion for others every day. She advocates for her staff and encourages a positive work environment.
Jo also promotes the image of nursing within our organization and community at large as she is pursuing a master's degree in Nursing Leadership and Management. She truly is a special person and nurse.
Jo has recently transitioned to the Burns and Pediatric Program Manager position. The Burn and Pediatric ICU Unit Practice Council would like to recognize Jo for all she has done and continues to do for the UW Regional Burn Center, our staff and the patients we care for.
