Since leaving her management position on 4 West to return to the bedside in 2007,
Jolie Hultner, RN, BSN has worked in the Emergency Department as a Clinical III RN and Relief Clinical Coordinator. She is a member of the Education Council and serves
as the Skin Care Resource Nurse, providing inservices for staff on improving
skin care and pressure ulcer prevention in the ED, as well as compiling a pressure ulcer resource book for her unit.
Jolie facilitated the development and implementation of an improved patient flow strategy, called "Pull until Full", effectively working to decrease the average length of stay by 44 minutes.
