Jolynn tended to my daughter's horrific headache. She was one of the most caring nurses I've met in a very long time. She showed exceptional respect for my daughter's knowledge of her own body. She made sure the noise and light were at levels my daughter could tolerate.
She established a professional and personable relationship within lightning speed without unprofessional or "fake" remarks. She listened carefully when it was time to start my daughter's IV. She even tried twice (per my daughter's request) to start her IV in her left arm - the easy place, or sweet spot is my daughter's right antecubital.
She gave all medications ordered promptly and swiftly and explained each medication and why she was getting it. I have been an RN for 22 + years and I don't hand out compliments lightly. Jolynn deserves an entire field of daisies; she earns each and every one! I hope she is my nurse next time I need one.
