Jomarie goes above and beyond, on and off the treatment floor, to show her love for dialysis, patients, and the team. Her commitment to continuous improvement and fun is reflected in our clinical outcomes, patient satisfaction, and nephrologist engagement. Whether it’s a funny costume, music, games, or her cheerful disposition, Jomarie brings joy and passion to work and her patient’s lives. Additional roles as Access Manager, Adequacy Manager, and Anemia Manager have contributed to a top 20% DQI score in 2023, low CVC In-Use rate (14.89%), and 100% Adequacy month-to-month. She prioritizes patient safety, survey readiness, and clinical outcomes to ensure we provide the highest standard of care. Her empathy and strong relationships with patients and their families are heart-warming. We have patients who successfully transplanted or regained kidney function come back to thank Jomarie for being part of their journey. I recently had an emotional meeting with the family of a patient who expired; they praised Jomarie and the facility for consistent communication, coordinating care, and being a 2nd family to their mother. 

Jomarie’s professional growth and dedication over the past 3 years is commendable. She moved to Houston as an International Nurse after several years in Saudi Arabia, became charge capable, precept new nurses, took on the Clinical Coordinator role, and evolved into a highly respected nurse in The DaVita Village. She is a powerhouse! In addition to her clinical excellence, Jomarie has also proven to be an exceptional leader and team player. Her integrity and remarkable ability to drive change have significantly contributed to the positive culture within our facility.
