I was admitted to the hospital for a cardiac event and was sent to the ICU after my procedure. I was transferred to the Telemetry floor where Jonathan Gardea was my nurse. I was feeling better until one night while taking a shower I started to have chest pains. Jonathan gave me medications to address my chest pain and continued to monitor me closely. Several hours later my pain returned. Jonathan continued to care for me and monitor me, reporting my condition to the physician. I was taken back to the cath lab where the physician performed another emergent procedure. Jonathan gave me great attention, provided great nursing care, and relieved me of any doubts and concerns I had. Jonathan did all the right things. Jonathan saved my life. He was my healer.
