Under Jonathan's leadership, this hospital has reached incredible milestones: the opening of Dell Seton in 2017, establishing out fort Burn Program, opening the crown jewel of Austin, out Neurocritical Care Unit, and earning prestigious national recognitions for clinical excellence. Most notably, we achieved Magnet with Distinction, featuring 13 exemplars - a record for the Ascension system. Every award, program, and standard of care reflects the vision and excellence Jonathan brought to work every single day.

I have worked with Jonathan since he started as a CA in our ICU at Brackenridge. His eagerness to learn and grow as a healthcare worker has never wavered. We always teased him that he started in ICU already ACLS proficient! I am so proud of this man who became my boss, an amazing educator, and then our CNO. He is a NURSE....one of the best you will ever know!

One vivid memory of working with Jonathan was when he served as co-captain for the Patient Move Team. Together we transitioned over 100 patients from UMCB to DSMCUT. We managed patient flow and timely movement, updated our move manifest to ensure patient safety, communicated with our incident command center, and led our respective critical care and acute care teams. I will forever cherish these memories and my time working alongside Jonathan!
