Jonathan Manley, MSN, FNP-C

I am nominating JM for The DAISY Award due to his superior level of patient care and his attitude that is summed up as “patient comes first.” JM is an Extraordinary Nurse, but his thinking is extraordinary towards his customers. There were situations when the clinical tech was unavailable because they were attending to other patients. JM did not feel beneath him to take up the task of cleaning up diarrhea more than once. He always explains the action/reaction of prescription medicine before administering. To me, this is an outstanding level of care.
