I truly believe that God put Johnathan in our lives at the right time.
Nomination #1:
I was admitted after passing out and hitting my head, and experiencing severe nausea. Jonathan put me at ease right away by being personable and funny while still being so professional. He listened to me and took care of everything I needed. Wonderful personality for a caregiver!
Nomination #2:
Jonathan made my husband’s stay enjoyable despite his medical issue. He was the highlight of his day with his sense of humor and good cheer.
Nomination #3:
Jonathan helped my dad transition so peacefully into the afterlife. It was a scary and overwhelming time for both my mom and me. Jonathan was SO kind and compassionate. He was gentle with my dad and so comforting and reassuring to my mom and me. He explained everything that was going on in a way that we could understand, and he answered all our questions with sensitivity and honesty. I truly believe that God put Johnathan in our lives at the right time. Jonathan is an asset to McLeod Hospital and to the Cardiac/Neurology Unit. His kind demeanor, his compassion, empathy, and intelligence not only make him top tier in his profession but also make him an amazing human being.
Nomination #4:
I was a patient at Seacoast, and Jonathan Shannon was my RN. I am delighted to nominate Jonathan Shannon for the DAISY Award. I cannot say enough good things about my care that I received from Jonathan. He is very clean-cut, intelligent, very professional, very polite, caring, and compassionate.
I was in a lot of pain with my back, and he did everything he could to make me comfortable. Always checking in on me and saying if I needed anything to press the call button. He made me feel that I was never bothering him when I needed something.
I received excellent care from Jonathan. He was the same caring person when he came to work as he was at the end of his 12-hour shift. He truly has a great future ahead of him. Seacoast is incredibly fortunate to have Jonathan on their team.
