We had a pediatric psych patient who had been awaiting transfer to a psychiatric facility for several days. The family and patient had been in the POD and it was not a healthy environment for this patient to continue to wait in. Jon went out of his way to move the family into Room 40 to make them more comfortable while they waited several more days for transfer. Jon bent over backwards to advocate for the patient and make sure patient care was above and beyond expectation.
