August 2018 Honoree
joni mccluskey, RN
My wife and I arrived at 7:30 AM for her induction. She delivered at 12:23 AM the next day. That evening, my wife and I were running on 36-40 hours with only one or two short naps. Our baby started cluster feeding at 7:00 PM and did not stop until 4:00 AM. Joni McCluskey stepped in and held and rocked our baby so that my wife and I could actually get some uninterrupted sleep. We did not see a clock at the start or finish of this, but my wife believes that Joni stood and bounced our baby for an hour so that she could nap. I am not the type to fill this sort of thing out, but I was so thankful and impressed with Joni that I felt the need to do so.
Thank you, Joni, for your exceptional compassion, advocacy, and dedication to your patients. You truly make a difference.
