Jordan was my labor and delivery nurse, and she took such amazing care of me and my newborn baby. Not only was she closely monitoring us all through her shift - the baby had heart rate issues all through my labor and induction - but she also provided emotional support and helped guide our expectations through situations that might come up, like an emergency c-section. Jordan was such a rock through my labor pain, epidural placement, and eventual birth plan switch to a c-section. We had a very personal and emotional moment while I was in the operating room when she held my hand and let me know it was all okay. I completely trusted her care and felt very safe with her watching over us. She kept us grounded in the facts, got us everything we needed, and felt like someone I had known for a long time. She helped the rest of the staff during the c-section and was a constant presence for us to hang on to while we were scared of the unknown. I am so lucky to have her as my nurse!
