My grandma was recently in the ICU and was cared for by Jordan while I was visiting. My grandma's condition had deteriorated much quicker than we were expecting, which made the loss of my grandma even more emotional for our family. I am so thankful that Jordan was the nurse who walked alongside my family through this experience. She demonstrated a compassionate and caring attitude that went above and beyond what was required of her. My grandparents had been married for 65 years and Jordan was so mindful of my grandpa as he grieved the loss of his wife. I'm well aware of the emotionally exhausting nature of the ICU and how easy it is to become calloused, yet Jordan showed nothing but kindness and empathy to our family. Jordan truly cared for my entire family as she cared for my grandma, and I will always be thankful that she was the nurse who took care of my grandma in her final days.
