I would like to recognize Jordan for her incredible care as a nurse at Children’s. Jordan always has a smile on her face and is very involved in her patients’ care. Jordan takes time out of her busy day to coordinate and collaborate with various team members. As a member of the rehab team, I am so grateful for Jordan’s attentive nature. She is always willing to coordinate medications for patients to support their participation in therapy. Even on her busiest days, Jordan is always available with a smile on her face. She is a great advocate for her patients and is not afraid to speak up and share exam details with medical teams to ensure the best care.

Jordan and I shared a patient a few weeks ago, and I was so impressed with Jordan’s care. She went above and beyond to sit with the patient who was experiencing increased pain after surgery to help calm the patient. She then phoned numerous support teams, including me (PT), the pain team, and child life, to help the patient calm down and find comfortable positions and a calm state. Thank you, Jordan, for all your hard work! Thank you for making Children’s Nebraska such a wonderful place!
