I had my first baby recently. I was scared beyond belief. Jordan was my nurse, and she was so kind and compassionate with me. She encouraged me with every push, even after she was covered in my amniotic fluid. As a first-time mom, I wasn't really sure how to push. Jordan coached me through it and was so patient and nurturing. When she realized my baby's head was turned funny, and his fist was in the way, she sought help from the midwife and doctor. Even when the doctor had to take over, she stayed, coached, and cheered for me. The only voice louder than hers was my husband's. When my baby had to be taken because he wasn't breathing, Jordan came back and forth between checking on me and the baby and reassured me the whole time. The following days, she stopped in at least once to check on us, even though we weren't "her patients" anymore. She helped coach and guide me when breastfeeding wasn't going well, and I'm now able to feed because of her guidance. I just can't get over how passionate she is about her job and how wonderful and kind she is!
