Jordan was my baby's nurse in the NICU on the day that I was discharged from the Mother/Baby unit but had to leave him behind. My heart was breaking, and Jordan went beyond her tasks to comfort me. She answered my frantic questions with patience and kindness, prayed with me for my baby (at my request), and even pushed me in my wheelchair to the hospital entrance where she continued to comfort me. Everything she said and did helped me cope with not being able to bring my baby home with me, and with the uncertainly of his health. Now I have my baby at home, healthy, and happy but I will never forget his first week of life in the NICU and meeting one of the best nurses in my life. I thank her endlessly from the bottom of my heart!
