I had the pleasure of having nursing student Jordan Pflum in NR 283 Pathophysiology Didactic. As a student, Jordan demonstrates accountability, and responsibility for learning. Jordan utilizes clinical judgement and critical reasoning to address simple to complex situations across the lifespan. Jordan appropriately demonstrates the skill of therapeutic communication in written, verbal, and non-verbal methods with patients, colleagues, and classmates, making her both caring and an outstanding advocate. Jordan is a born leader and demonstrates leadership skills in the academic setting as a pediatric club officer and was chosen as representative of the leadership academy here at Miramar Campus.
