Jordan went above and beyond each time she was our nurse, as well as when she was our charge nurse. My daughter spent 12 days on the 12th floor, and we were fortunate enough to have Jordan taking care of her for at least 7 of those days. When it was time for discharge, there was a miscommunication regarding getting me home, which is three and a 1/2 hours away. Once again, Jordan went above and beyond to be certain that I had a ride home and was well taken care of so that my daughter did not have to worry about her mom's transportation while she was being transferred via ambulance. We have felt very well taken care of in the transitional unit. Every one of the nurses and the nursing assistants has been top-notch! Thank you very much to UCSF; you saved my daughter's life. We always felt like we were receiving the best care, thorough explanations, and a comfortable place for my daughter to heal. My daughter spent a total of 24 days being cared for at UCSF. And we have been so very pleased with the level of care that she has received. We will be forever grateful. Everyone on your care team has been exceptional! Jordan was the most compassionate and caring of them all.
