Jordan was my husband's first nurse after major open heart surgery. He was in critical care 5 days and released from step down 2 weeks to the day after surgery. Jordan was so comforting to me when my husband was sedated and then in pain. Jordan was on duty for 3 different 3-day shifts, and even when he was working on the critical care side he came to see my husband every day. He'd drop by every day he was on duty just to say hi and see how he was doing. That was beyond the call of duty. It made my husband feel good during all the time in step down to see Jordan's cheerful face. He also brought a photo of our grandchild that was taped to the wall in critical care and put it on the wall in our step down room.
