This letter is certainly long overdue! But it is a tough letter, as it is the last thank you to the person who prayed with my Mom and gave her that comfort to "let go" of her earthly place.
You excelled at your job in all of the medical skills and knowledge, but what we/my family/I will most remember is your compassion and caring! I now realize that we knew too little, but we were buffered from the stark truth that Mom was dying.. and that's ok.. we needed that. This gave us time to absorb the inevitable. After her passing, your care and compassion to talk, listen, and console tended to our emotional and spiritual needs.
In this Coronavirus day, you are especially prayed for and thought of! May God take care of you and strengthen the shield of protection around you always.
