Jordan is a caring, compassionate, and just the type of nurse that I would want to take care of a patient at the end of life.
I believe that Jordan deserves a field of daisies. I am nominating Jordan for the compassion she shows our patients. She has shown multiple end-of-life patients the care that they need. Recently we had a patient who was end of life and she went above and beyond. She stayed over her shift to help me ensure that the patient was comfortable before leaving. She also picked up shifts to take care of this patient. This isn't the first time she has done this though. Whenever a patient is at end of life, Jordan will be the first one to volunteer to pick up a shift to care for that patient. She always advocates for the patients/families in every way that she can to ensure that they are comfortable with the care.

Jordan is a caring, compassionate, and just the type of nurse that I would want to take care of a patient at the end of life. Jordan has always done what is best for not only her patients, their families, and her co-workers. She is nothing short of a high-quality team player. Every time our unit is in need due to staffing she is always the first one to step up and offer to help. Whether that be for dayshift or nightshift. She consistently fills in for charge and never complains.

Jordan made a huge impact on a family and patient during end-of-life earlier in the week. Not only did she come in and help while the unit was short, but she stayed as promised to the Mom. Once this patient passed Jordan was willing to stay and fulfill all wishes for end of life per the parents' request. She assured the patient wasn't left alone on the unit or during his travel to surgery, and waiting for the funeral home. Jordan knew how important this was to the family and made it a priority for herself as well. She along with others made sure all of the parents' wishes were met and there was no rush to get them off the unit. She went by the comfort of the family. I can't even begin to describe the impact this had on the family; as well as others staff on the unit. I have true admiration for Jordan's love and dedication to our unit, patients, families, and fellow peers.

If we had more people like Jordan life would be full of joy. So, many should strive to be more like her. This person helps me through my sad times and she is very kind to me. Thank you for keeping me in line with everything like my medicine and my vitals.
