When I went in for my induction, I was anxious, scared, excited, and a million other emotions were running through my body. I knew all I wanted was a healthy baby and a healthy mom. Fortunately for me, I reached both of those goals, and I truly believe the reason is Jesus and Jordan.

She met me where I was at; in my excitement, she shared it with me. When I was scared, she reminded me that I was safe and healthy and so was my baby. When I didn't think I could do it anymore, she encouraged me to keep going and reminded me of how badly I wanted my sweet baby.

She was by my side through my induction, epidural, pain, tears, giggles, and so much more. She cared for me in a way that I didn't think was even possible. She was more than excellent at her job, knowing exactly what I needed and what my baby needed without hesitation. She stayed later than her shift to watch me bring my sweet, healthy baby into the world.

At one point, I said I couldn't do it; I couldn't push. I was horrified that my baby wouldn't like me or I wouldn't be a good mom, and she reminded me that my daughter was meant to be mine, that I was everything she needed, and I could do all the things I needed to and more.

Jordan is truly, truly an angel on earth. I've never felt more seen or heard in any situation. I'd have 10 more babies if it meant Jordan could care for us. The world needs more Jordan's, healthcare needs more Jordan's, everyone deserves a Jordan.

She will forever be ingrained into the most vulnerable, magical, scariest, most rewarding day of my life.

Thank you, Jordan, for your exceptional compassion, advocacy, and dedication to your patients. You truly make a difference.
