Jordee has a passion for nursing and healthcare overall. Not only is she a full-time charge nurse, she also helps and pick-up extra shifts when needed. She is well known throughout the hospital for her compassion, collaborative efforts, and energy. She is highly respected by her peers and appreciated by her patients because of the way she treats others. One thing that I think is very unique about Jordee is that her leadership and clinical practice are heavily based on her plan of care to include and meet the idiosyncrasies, age-specific, cultural, and diverse needs of her patients and their family members. Jordee is seen as a very positive person in CCU and exhibits a “win-win” philosophy. She represents the hospital well as she strives for excellence in problem-solving and always seeks ways to deliver the highest level of patient care. There is no problem that cannot be resolved whenever Jordee is around. Her life and personal mission are consistent with the mission statement of Hendrick and that is to be an extension of the healing ministry of Jesus Christ. Jordee emulates warmth, humility, and compassion as she serves others and always expresses appreciation to others for their efforts. Two occasions of withdrawal of care I have personally witnessed Jordee's compassion during a very difficult time for family members. I strongly believe that Jordee is a special nurse who deserves recognition.
