Jorge Dominguez, RN
Jorge Dominguez took amazing care of my mom, who had suffered multiple strokes after a hip fracture and surgery, and ultimately was to move into comfort care and Hospice delivered by the Avista Med-Surg Care team and Choice Hospice.
Jorge's compassion and empathy for my mom and my family are so personal and deeply felt. The calling to care that Jorge shows in every moment is so deeply appreciated by our family and our mother as she enters the last few days of her life. She and Jorge would be kindred spirits and best friends in another life.

Jorge was so professional, thorough, and kind to my husband and me. He cleaned him and prepared him for his stay in the hospital after breaking his arm.
D had a stroke in 2008 and has very limited mobility and limited use of his fingers and hands. Jorge is very competent in knowing how to move a large, heavy person and was aware of the pain D was experiencing.
Jorge was also very helpful to me; I had been up for 26 hours and was very tired at 2:00 AM. Jorge said I should feel comfortable leaving to go home and get some sleep, he assured me that D would be safe and comfortable so I could go home to sleep, and D had a good night.
