Jorum Mwangi Jorum was nominated by two patients who appreciated his kindness, compassion, and promptness. “He knew I enjoyed tea, so he would go out of his way to make me tea each night before bed,” wrote one patient. “God bless this amazing man.” Jorum’s other nominator also appreciated his excellent bedside manner. After suffering unexpected medication side effects, the patient wrote, “The nurse just happened to peek in my room and saw what was going on. I don’t even think he was on duty yet. He came in and took care of everything. He was awesome. He was so friendly and didn’t make me feel embarrassed at all. I am thankful for him. He’s a wonderful nurse!”
