Nurse Jose has been one of the best nurses my mother has ever had. Words cannot express the gratitude I have towards this nurse, he is absolutely extraordinary. He is very attentive to my mother's needs - for example, he makes sure she gets her pain medications on time and stays alert when he sees her in pain, then checks on her even after he gave the medication to make sure she's doing alright. He has soft hands - my mother has always said that whenever he pokes her for her blood sugar checks or insulin, she feels no pain at all, like it never happened. He is very hopeful and is always wishing the best for my mother, whether it's for surgery or an examination, he just gives her those positive vibes that she needs in this delicate time. He does a great job updating me on my mother's health. Whenever I have to step out, he makes sure to find me as soon as I step back in to fill me in on what I missed while I was gone. His updates are always very detailed, and he explains everything thoroughly. When I have any concerns about her medical care, he will contact the doctor right away, he wastes no time. When the doctors show up to give me a full update, he listens as well so that later if I have any questions he can fill me in to the best of his abilities. He shows dedication and puts in great effort towards the patient to ensure that his patients are well taken care of, whether it's getting a cup of water or asking to speak with the doctor. I'm comfortable leaving my mom's side to run errands when Jose is our nurse because I know Jose is doing a great job. Thank you, Jose!
