Jose Flor, Jr, RN

I am a recent patient who was admitted to the ICU. I apparently have pulmonary and cardiac issues (constant and high use of level oxygen). During my staff interactions, I was constantly impressed with the high level of attention and care I received from the nursing staff. In particular, one ICU nurse stood out, not only as an excellent caregiver but also as an advocate for my fears and concerns - he sought to allay my anxieties by speaking to the doctors so that I could establish better lines of communication. He went that extra mile to make sure I totally understood the upcoming course of action. His name is Jose Flor, and I can't speak too highly of his excellent empathic skills and care for his patients. You are lucky to have him.
