Before and after my surgical procedure, Jose was my beacon of support as he made a world of difference in my recovery. With this being my first procedure, it was immensely scary and gave me a lot of anxiety and worry. However, Jose was a comforting presence who ensured that all my questions were answered and that I had peace of mind despite the entire hospitalization being one of the toughest times in my life. Jose not only offered me the kind of care that heals one physically but showed me moments of genuine concern, kindness, and reassurance, which is what I needed exactly. Jose wasn’t just part of my healthcare team but someone that was caring, kind, and a true blessing. I’m just so thankful for nurses just like him!
