I have many positive encounters and experiences to share with you regarding Mr. Jose Rojas, LVN, and would like to describe a few important examples of his excellence and committed patient care.
For the past 8 years, I have been extremely blessed to receive exceptional primary care from my doctor's "A Team" which normally begins with communication and direction from Mr. Jose Rojas. Each email I send to my doctor's PACT Team #3, I am pleasantly greeted by a professional and warm email reply from Mr. Rojas. Not only does he respond within 24 hours, but he also communicates with a can-do attitude and answers my questions or redirects them to his team. As a retired 1SG, he definitely has retained his military customer service attitude and cordial disposition. Additionally, during my medical appointments, Mr. Rojas often greets me in the reception and personally escorts me to the examining room. I remember on two occasions, he actually greeted me in the reception and began the pre-screening vital signs and questions (in privacy), even before my scheduled appointment in order to optimize my time and the tight schedule of patient care. I was very impressed with his efficiency and professionalism.
My wife and I have been frequently traveling to Latin America for missionary and volunteer work, caring for special needs children in an orphanage. We were traveling twice a year and now, as we are Guatemalan residents, we sometimes travel for 3-4 months at a time. Before each mission trip, I contact Mr. Rojas to prepare for my primary care appointment. He unhesitatingly has accommodated my special request for appointment changes in order to ensure that my doctor cares for me before departure to Guatemala. The upcoming mission trip this September through January is no exception. I contacted Mr. Rojas and he has assisted me in ensuring that I have sufficient supplies of my medications (4 months) in order to travel safely. Mr. Rojas has been my professional conduit to access my doctor and has always supported my ability to travel abroad in order to help others.
Mr. Rojas continually demonstrates exceptional nursing care, compassion, and efficiency in his daily interaction with me and his patients. He is an exemplary and caring ambassador for the VA Healthcare System!
