RN Jose Vargas is a loved nurse among our patients. Between January to June 2022, he received 40 positive comments from the patients he has cared for, which is by far the highest number of positive comments received from the Hospital.

She was a stubborn woman who didn’t want to go home because she was afraid of what she was going to do once at home. Nurse Jose charismatically talked to her and was able to connect with her as a patient. He listened to her complaining without interruptions. He played a significant role in helping ease her fears about the procedure. I feel nurse Jose went above and beyond to make my wife feel secure and she appreciated it. Thank you. "I underwent surgery and forgot everything Nurse Jose Vargas told me during discharge. However, the next day after surgery, he called me to check on me, and I informed him that I was very nervous because I couldn't remember anything he had told me.
