Josefina was one of the nurses who cared for my mother following her knee replacement surgery. She did an outstanding job of helping my mother learn to navigate her new reality both physically and mentally. Josefina's expertise, kindness, compassion, and sensibility enabled my mom to literally get "back on her feet" immediately. My mom was comfortable, confident and competent thanks to the excellent care that she got from everyone at the hospital, but especially from the one on one interactions that she had with Josefina.

Josefina is deserving of this DAISY Award for her excellent work that is above and beyond what is expected of an employee. She really made the difference in my mother's overall experience at Jupiter Medical Center and her subsequent recovery.
