Josely was my nurse for 4 days of the 6 days that I was in the 4 West Unit. This was my very first hospitalization, I was scared, very sick, and almost went into liver failure. She was compassionate, caring, attentive, a great patient advocate, and had great assessment skills. Every time she noticed a change in me that was of concern, she was quick to notify the doctor. She was frequently checking up on me. I felt safe and she made me feel that everything was going to be ok. Her words of encouragement helped me "fight" this sickness. I am going home today, but I can't go home without recognizing Josely as a DAISY Nurse. She is an extraordinary nurse who goes above and beyond and gives extraordinary care. Kaiser Permanente is very fortunate to have Josely. Thank you.
