Joseph Colombo, RN

I would like to thank Joseph Colombo for his care and dedication to his profession. The unconditional love this young man has for his vocation is beyond description. The understanding, compassion, and humility he shows to his patient are remarkable. Joseph discovered several omissions on my chart and took the time to follow up on them. He was also able to recognize the stress I was in, while I myself was not aware of it. He calmly took time to explain what he would do. This young man’s thorough patience is wonderful. If I questioned something, he explained it to me in a way I could understand. Joseph took time to check on me before he left at shift’s end. I think what prompted me most to write this is that to this young man, it does not matter if you are young, old, cranky, or just plain scared. He does what he does better than anyone should expect of any nurse. His love of nursing is unconditional, and I believe St. David's is fortunate to have him!
