Joseph Detviler, RN

I had gastric bypass surgery recently and Joe was absolutely AMAZING!!!!! While all of the Nurses I interacted with during my stay were awesome, Joe stands out. He was so personable, professional, and courteous, I couldn’t believe it. He built a great repertoire with my Dad, my quest, who felt so comfortable leaving me in Joe’s care. He encouraged me to do things and I truly think that is why my recovery is going so well. He was fun to talk to and every request I had he followed up on immediately. His smile just instantly put me at ease and he was like my own cheerleader! When I went on a walk he was so proud of me, it was so cute. If there is a way to create 10 more nurses like Joe, this world would be a better place. So, thank you, Joe, for making a stressful and painful situation something fun and bearable.
