February 2022 Honoree
Joseph F Kissel, RN
Joseph is a new grad nurse and has faced his new career in the pandemic with grace. He works hard and supports his teammates. Prior to becoming a nurse, he was a CTA and will often pick up shifts as a CTA when he is able. His willingness to serve others is something that does not go unnoticed. A recent example of this is when a male patient was admitted to the unit and had told Joseph that he wasn’t able to get his hair cut because he was in the ER. Joseph decided to come in on his day off and gave the patient a haircut. The patient was so happy and grateful for his act of kindness. Thank you, Joseph, for being compassionate towards our patients and making a difference in their lives.
Thank you, Joseph, for your exceptional compassion, advocacy, and dedication to your patients. You truly make a difference.
