Our stay was 5 days and the staff was short-handed but you wouldn't have known the staff was so great. But one stood out. He never stopped, always sure he ask visitors and patients if they needed anything, made notes to every request, and never forgot anything for anyone. I watched as a little old lady across the hall talked slowly and walked slowly as it looked like she may have had hip surgery. He made extra trips by and checked on her often, and it seemed to bring comfort to her. He seemed to help the others working on the floor at any time he saw that they needed. He worked 2 of the 5 days we were here. But it was nice to see that they still made people with compassion. I watched as he went room to room to see if anyone needed cover, the lights cut off, ice water or just to see if they are comfortable. He is definitely leading by example.
