Joseph shows tremendous compassion, thoughtfulness and caring in all situations. He goes the extra mile to ensure patients’ comfort, understanding their care and allowing them their dignity. Recently, our unit took care of a quadriplegic patient who had severe anxiety. Joseph took the time to read aloud to him from a novel (during his free time!) over the period of a few weeks, to give the patient a little personal time and a different, pleasurable experience. Wow!!
