Joe provided incredible bedside nursing during one of the most traumatic times in my life. I went in for what I thought was dehydration during pregnancy at almost 33 weeks pregnant. Things rapidly progressed to full-blown labor, and me having a baby shortly after being admitted to the OB triage room.

While many of the moments surrounding that day are a blur, some are so vivid. As my husband rushed to get to the hospital, Joe, an emergency room nurse, quickly responded to the STAT team that was paged overhead. He rushed to my side and he never left it. He held my hand when I was terrified and guided me through the complicated delivery of our sweet boy.

I have so much gratitude for the entire team that day and how they cared for us. Thank you, Joe, for being the calm in the chaos and for reminding me of God's faithfulness through it all. I am beyond grateful for you and the blessing you were that evening. The care you provided was unmatched.
