Joe was wonderful with my husband, caring, compassionate and really connected with him. He treated him and my family with respect. He made a difference to my husband. He is an outstanding nurse and we will always remember how he treated us. Even our friend who is a nurse said, "you have a GEM right here".
Joe truly went above and beyond especially when he followed up with my husband after he got out of ICU and transferred to Ack 5 South. He came to visit and check how he was doing and that was very important to my husband- the personal connection. My husband gets so emotional when we talk about Joe, he is one of a kind!
