Josette Bell, BSN, RN, RNC-OB

This nurse has been such a blessing to our new family during and after a traumatic delivery. We had the pleasure to have her care for us twice during our birth at Advent Health. We were so lucky she was paired with us for our birth and postpartum care. She took care of our family like she would her own, going above and beyond to give exemplary care, listening to our concerns, offering advice, advocating for our care with other providers and family members, and being a calming presence while bringing our baby girl, C, into the world. She was always available for us, including my husband, whether we needed questions answered, providers contacted, or time to rest away from visitors. Josette was proactive with cleaning and restocking our room after I lost a lot of blood following our birth so that we did not have to relive the trauma. She is a nurse who not only has a true calling for nursing, but she has a heart of gold for the patients in her care. All these reasons and more are why my husband and I wish to nominate Nurse Josette for the DAISY Award.
