My dad spent 5 days in your hospital in critical condition. We had great caregivers but one stood out above the others. This nurse will always be remembered for how they treated my dad like a friend. The nurse spoke to all of us in this friendly tone and it never felt like we were strangers which put us all at ease during a traumatic time. Seeing a loved one in this condition can be scary but our nurse took the time to explain what they were all doing, which helped to calm us. On the night my dad finally got to eat, he was so happy he cried. Our nurse stayed at his bedside and shared the tender moment with us, offering words of encouragement and sharing in our joy. This nurse will never be forgotten.
