Josh is such an amazing nurse and person! He not only was very attentive to my daughter's needs but every time my husband and I came to visit her Josh came right in to see if we had questions or needed anything at all. He offered to get me a wheelchair because he could tell I was in pain from my c section and he didn’t want me to have to walk back to my room. That is going above and beyond! Josh was the first PCICU nurse in days to offer for us to do some hands-on activities with our daughter while he assisted us. He let us change her diaper with his assistance and feed her. He talked us through everything and educated us along the way. He was so supportive and encouraging. He told my daughter what a good job she was doing the whole time and it made me smile so big! Every time we came to visit our daughter throughout the day she was tucked in, comfortable, and had been repositioned. He was so attentive to her needs! As a first-time mom with a newborn in ICU, I wish I could have Josh as her nurse every single shift. MUSC is lucky to have him!
