I came to the hospital on the advice of my doctor 2 nights ago. After examination, it was decided that I had to be admitted. Of course, the hospital was very crowded. Ultimately, I was sitting in a chair in the hallway. Josh was taking care of my clinical needs and doing an excellent job. He was considerate and caring. These are stressful times for patients. I was a retired medical social worker, and I understand this very well. After a time, I told Josh that I was hungry and cold. He got me a sandwich and a warming blanket. He checked on me repeatedly. Hours and hours passed; I was increasingly uncomfortable because I had an injection. He tried his hardest to get me a room, but because I had to be in isolation, this was difficult.

After about 12 hours, he found a room in the ED where I could lie down. He continued to be sure that I was warm and fed. Thank god, many hours late,r they found a room for me. The ED was hopping, but while unpleasant for me, my outcome was good because of the excellent care and caring that I received. You are lucky to have Josh.

Thank you, Josh, for your exceptional compassion, advocacy, and dedication to your patients. You truly make a difference.
