Joshua Austin is by far the best nurse I have ever had at San Dimas Community Hospital Emergency Department. He is so personable and took great interest in me as a patient but, more importantly, a person. 
     
I was in terrible pain, yet he made me forget it by asking me about myself and what I liked to do. Being in pain constantly, it's hard to take a breath, but he was such an angel in helping me to calm down, so my pain didn't get worse. 
     
Most importantly, each time he gave me meds, he let me know what I was getting and how much. This is extremely important to me because I'm allergic to so many medications. He is thorough and always smiling and very informative.  
     
I believe he's one of the best nurses I have had in my lifetime. Last by not least he only had to poke me 1 time to start my IV. My experience is 3-4 times usually, which tells me he was trained well and paid close attention. He took my pain seriously - absolutely wonderful. 
     
So yeah, I'm very pleased. I wish all RNs were like him!! Thank you, JOSH!
