Josh immediately impressed us as a nurse. He introduced himself and genuinely spoke to my husband as well and listened to what he had to say. Josh was always appropriate and punctual with all his care. He conveyed confidence and compassion, the best traits a nurse could have. My husband and I were both nurses, so to witness a fellow nurse who is not just earning a paycheck but doing a job he was called for is truly remarkable. We had been in for back surgery two weeks prior and were completely impressed with our level of care on the 2nd floor, however after meeting Josh we soon realized how lucky we were to experience the same level of nursing care on the 3rd floor. He was so personable and, as a veteran himself, conveyed a sense of compassion for other veterans such as my husband. The VA is lucky to have him as a nurse! We were even impressed that Josh cares so much for veterans’ well-being that he has founded a non-profit.
