I really can’t remember a specific situation. My brother-in-law was on this floor for at least two weeks when he met his nurse Josh, he immediately got so close to him. Josh always went out of his way to make him comfortable and talk to him even when he had other patients to take care of. My brother-in-law has stage 4 cancer, and through his caring and being so compassionate, Josh made this tough and difficult time a little easier for all of us. Even when Josh was assigned other patients, he would come by and say hello and if we needed anything just ask for him and he would come by and help when he was able to. He gave my brother-in-law excellent care and cared about all of us too. He made us all smile and laugh, my brother-in-law just loved him, he’s definitely a wonderful nurse. We didn’t worry so much about his care when Josh was around. My brother-in-law was discharged and still talks about Josh, we all do, we wanted to adopt him! Morristown is extremely blessed to have such a dedicated nurse on your staff, you need a dozen more Joshs in your hospital!
