I'm not exaggerating when I say Josh saved my husband's life. When he was rushed to the CCU, it was unexpected, and the doctors told my daughters and me to say goodbye that first night. As we received the unimaginable, we were graced with an angel, Josh. All my husband's vital organs were failing. He was put on a ventilator and over 10 IV drips.

Josh's knowledge and professionalism were critical in his first 48 hours in the CCU. His experience, relationship with the myriad of doctors, and never-ending emotional ownership were key factors in turning the tide. Over the four weeks my husband spent in the CCU, Josh was his nurse on and off. He was one of the things that got my family and me through. He was empathetic while being factual and always ensured we understood my husband's status and condition. Josh did all this while training a new CCU nurse, imparting his technical know-how while teaching someone how to handle an emotionally distressed family. Josh is the epitome of what healthcare should be like, and we are eternally grateful to him.
