Josh and my grandfather had a special bond. My granddad is terminal and Josh went more than above and beyond to meet his needs physically and emotionally as well as the needs of the entire family. He was so exceptional and had such an impact on my granddad that the family has invited him to their home which is out of town. Not only did he provide excellent nursing care, when he had down time, he would stay in my grandfather’s room and “talk” with him. This meant a lot to him, especially after finding out that he would be going home to die. My grandfather as well as the entire family request that he be recognized for his excellence in nursing care, as well as himself as a person.
